Jinger Duggar Vuolo Leaning on Sister Joy-Anna amid Pregnancy with Baby No. 3 (Exclusive)

Jinger Duggar Vuolo is tapping into some sisterly support amid her latest pregnancy.

The Counting On star — who is expecting her third child with husband Jeremy Vuolo — tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview that she has been leaning on her sister Joy-Anna Duggar “a lot” as she prepares to welcome a new baby into her family.

“I’ve been talking to Joy a lot because we’re kind of in the same season. She has three kids and I’m going on three kids,” says Jinger, 31, whose latest book, People Pleaser, was released on Jan. 14. “And so we chat a ton, just FaceTime calls or just to catch up.”

She notes that while Joy, 27, is four years younger, she “feels like she’s an older sister.”

Joy and husband Austin Forsyth share sons Gideon, 6, and Gunner, 20 months, and daughter Evelyn, 4. Jinger and Jeremy, 37, are parents to daughters Felicity, 6, and Evangeline, 4.

Jinger — who is one of 19 children in her large family — says she also keeps in close touch with her other seven sisters, including Jill, 33, Jana, 35, and Jessa, 32. “It’s such a  blessing to have them in my life,” she tells PEOPLE, saying it’s “amazing” to be able to jump on FaceTime and see her siblings’ faces while “being so far from family.”

She and Jeremy, who live in Los Angeles, announced the pregnancy in October, telling PEOPLE at the time that they are “super excited” about the new addition, who is due in March. Last month, they revealed that they have a baby boy on the way — and Jinger shared how she reacted to the unexpected news.

“We’re having a boy and we’re very excited,” she told Entertainment Tonight on Jan. 14. “I was so shocked to find out it was a boy, because I feel like everything felt the same. I actually had a lot of similarities to the pregnancy with the girls.”

“I was so shocked, I almost fell off my chair,” she continued, explaining that the idea of having a boy was a “foreign thing” after welcoming two daughters. “I was like, ‘How is this the boy gonna fit in?’ ”

Jinger also told ET that she and Jeremy plan to keep the baby’s name “a secret” until he’s born, noting it’s “what we always do” because then they “face less judgment” about their name choice.

“We’ve had like friends who’ve had issues with people like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna share the name, and then no one likes it,’ ” she explained. “But once that baby’s born, everybody thinks it’s the cutest name ever. So that’s our that’s our motto, our theory on it.”
